I grew up on Capcom, the video game company, and I especially like their 8-bit platformer games (e.g., Mega Man, DuckTales, etc.)

This is a cover of one such video game.

I had mixed feelings about covering video game music (and covers in general) because it felt like I was stealing work but at the same time I also wanted to pay homage to that work. So I decided to write the lyrics about that.
